Opinions to the President

“Opinions to the President” is a system made available to students, faculty members and staff (including adjunct staff) for submitting comments and/or suggestions on university operations to the administration. Opinions will be viewed by the president and forwarded to the relevant executive vice presidents or to the relevant administrative department heads as deemed necessary. Replies will not necessarily be sent to all those who submit comments and/or suggestions.

Certain comments and/or suggestions that are deemed useful may also be made public at internal meetings while protecting the anonymity of the person who submitted the opinion.       

How to Submit Opinions

When submitting an opinion, comment or suggestion, please provide the following information. This information is needed to verify the content of the submission and to be able to reply to the submitter. Names and other information will only be disclosed to essential personnel unless prior consent of the submitter is obtained. Depending on the content, the submitter may be referred to a certain department or other consultation services. Please note that responses take time to process.

The following opinions will not be acknowledged:
- Opinions that go against the objective or mission of Tokyo Institute of Technology
- Opinions that do not relate directly to the activities of Tokyo Institute of Technology
- Opinions that defame or slander others
- Opinions that the Institute deems unworthy of a reply
